Shari Headley

Her role in Lisa McDowell, a romantic comedy film about a journey to America (1988) and its sequel Coming 2 America (2021) is one of her most popular roles. Headley was also seen in films The Preacher's Wife (1996) and Johnson Family Vacation (2004). Headley was a frequent on-air character on All My Children, an ABC daytime soap production. She was the character Detective Mimi Reed from 1991 to 1994. As lead actress, she played in the Fox short-lived drama series 413 Hope St. (1997-1998) where she won an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding actor in a Drama Series nomination. Headley was the villainous Jennifer Sallison on the Oprah Winfrey Network primetime soap show The Haves and the Have Nots between 2014 and the year 2016.
