Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born 16 April 1996, in Miami Florida. She is half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her was Argentine with Scottish and English ancestry. Her mother hails from Spanish as well as English heritage. The Taylor-Joy family was a family of six children. Four of them are siblings from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, when the family moved to Victoria within London. According to Taylor-Joy the relocation was difficult and she was unable to study English in the hopes of moving back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after switching from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in school productions. She quit the high school aged 16 in order to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actor from a young age. She realized her dream after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
